- Comprehensive eye examinations, including eye health check, vision measurements, eye-muscle function testing, retinal photography and assessment, glaucoma risk assessments, and visual field analysis
- Prescription and dispensing of spectacles, specialty eyewear and contact lenses
- Children’s vision assessments and treatment including behavioural optometry
- Various eye assessments including colour vision assessments, and digital eyestrain assessments
- Diabetic eye examination
- Assessing vision requirements for driving
- Testing and provision of workplace safety prescription spectacles
- Low vision assessment and referral to various agencies such as Guide Dogs Australia or Vision Australia if necessary for counselling and support
- Referral to Ophthalmologists for assessment and treatment of conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, squint, lacrimal and eyelid conditions, diabetic eye disease treatment, laser refractive surgery assessment and keratoconus when required
- Referrals to medical practitioners or other healthcare providers for general health review relating to patient’s eye conditions, when appropriate
